This sandstone section displays an exceptional texture, particularly evident at the center of this scan. As part of a pond spillway, this sandstone is periodically eroded by a temporary stream that flows over its surface during heavy rainfall events. The texture's contrast has been enhanced to accentuate the unusual texturing.
