We schedule regular garbage and recycling collection, but the frequency of each has caused confusion among residents. Garbage pickup occurs weekly, while recycling collection happens every other week. To clarify this scheduling discrepancy, I designed a simple sign with an adjustable slider that indicates whether the upcoming pickup is for garbage alone or both garbage and recyclables.
