Garbage card Holder

Garbage card Holder

In the Netherlands, recycling is a way of life. In my hometown, residents have separate bins for various types of waste, including paper, plastic, and glass. However, for disposing of regular trash, we must take our garbage to a designated container located in our street. To access this container, we need a special card, which can sometimes be a challenge to keep track of. My wife frequently misplaces the card, so I decided to create a simple holder to store it safely at home. With this solution in mind, I designed and 3D printed a compact card holder that should make it easier for her to find the card when she needs it. I'm making a bold prediction: my wife will use the card holder correctly up to three times before losing track of it again. Here are the settings I used for the 3D print: Layer Height: 0.2 mm Shell thickness: 0.8 mm Bottom/Top thickness: 0.8 mm Infill density: 20% Support material: None The printing process took approximately two hours and fifteen minutes to complete.
