Garbage Bag Holder Knob
thingiverse
Human: Here's a quick kitchen hack that keeps garbage bags from falling into the can. I designed these little knobs in Autodesk Fusion 360 to hold our drawstrings on the bags, keeping them neat and tidy until it's time to take out the trash. My How-To Video: https://youtu.be/LlVicAR42HE Fusion 360 Model: http://a360.co/2mR8Q3X Project Steps: We need a glue stick, lighter, and our 3D-printed knobs. Once we glue these to the can, we're done. First, get a bag and push it down into the bottom of the can. Then pull out the drawstrings so we'll know where to mount the knobs. Next, heat up your gluestick and apply a good amount to the knob. Locate approximately where it goes and stick it onto the can. Once the glue cools, repeat this for the other side. And that's it - how easy was that? By the way, I used 13-gallon drawstring bags from Walmart. My design was inspired by Grant Thompson, also known as "The King of Random." Print Settings: Printer: Zim Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Printed with three shells for added strength. How I Designed This: I modeled this design in Fusion 360.
