We needed more storage, so I crafted this shelving unit to accommodate storage totes of various sizes. The tote dimensions and wall size are adjustable variables that can be easily edited. There's a DoubleStacked variable which enables users to stack totes double or single, depending on their preference. The pictures utilize the same wall size settings, but the second image has the DoubleStacked variable set to 0, showcasing single-stacked totes. The default ceiling height is set at 8.5 feet or 102 inches, and the standard tote used is a Hefty 66qt container. Any available space above the shelf is clearly indicated by the gray boxes. Rev 1 - This revised version determines whether the top shelf is too close to the ceiling for usable space. If so, it removes the top shelf altogether. The default usable space is set at 10 inches and should be less than the tote height. This ensures a minimum of 10 inches above the top shelf. If the usable space falls below 10 inches, the top shelf is removed automatically.
