This mount enables the secure attachment of a magnetic electronic switch, similar to the one available at https://www.grainger.com/product/GRAINGER-APPROVED-7-16-x-9-16-x-3-8-ABS-Plastic-2EXU7\r\n\r\nI've had my existing switch for an extended period, making it difficult to pinpoint its exact model. Fortunately, the linked model is almost identical in design. When the garage door is open, the magnetic switch automatically closes, completing the circuit and illuminating the blue LED I installed behind the old security panel inside my home. My garage door opener features exposed 12v power and ground terminals that provide a convenient source of power for this circuit.
