I crafted a custom holder for a garage door remote that perfectly fits a 28mm handlebar. I'm sharing it because it's specifically designed to fit the most common universal 433Mhz garage door remote from Banggood, which has been my trusted companion for over a year now. This holder has proven itself to be remarkably reliable - the remote remains steadfast in place without any signs of movement or falling, even when I don't use glue or tape to secure it. Its durability is impressive, having withstood countless showers, thunderstorms, hours of direct sunlight, and even the rigors of being made from PLA plastic. Above all, this holder has been a game-changer for me - no longer do I need to stop in the middle of my journey under scorching sun or pouring rain, fumbling through my pockets to find my remote while removing my gloves. If you want to add an extra layer of protection against the elements, simply apply a small piece of transparent Scotch tape over the buttons, even though the remote is already quite resistant to water - I've personally washed mine in the washing machine and it still functions flawlessly. For added peace of mind, consider using a small piece of double-sided Scotch tape or a rubber band to prevent the remote from slipping out of place, although my own remote remains firmly secured even after some intense off-road excursions.
