I attached the clip to the remote using double-sided tape, then stuck it onto the interior surface of my car. That's what happened before I had a 3D printer, though. A couple years went by, and the battery began to lose its strength. I ended up having to pry the remote out to replace the battery. This approach was not very effective. So that's why I created this cradle. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 4 Rafts: It doesn't make a difference. Supports: Yes. Resolution: .25mm resolution, with a nozzle size of .4mm. Post-Printing I attach the cradle to the surface of the car using double-sided tape. How I Designed This Project First, I traced the outline of the remote onto a piece of paper. Then I scanned that image. The dimensions were measured using a caliper. Afterward, I created a model of it in Fusion 360.
