This 3D model was originally created using Sketchup 8, then converted into other 3D formats with ease. The native format is .skp, while the 3ds Max scene was created in version 2016 and rendered with Vray 3.00 for high-quality visuals. As a Parkitecture Design Competition entry, it boasts ample space to accommodate three cars, which meets the competition requirements. Built from predominantly recyclable materials, this eco-friendly garage stands out with its front and back walls made of bricks repurposed from debris left behind after another building's demolition. The side walls are constructed using recycled tree waste, paper, and textiles, while central support elements are fashioned from recyclable steel. The roof is crafted from a unique mixture of wood chips and crushed glass, which helps reduce the need for lighting equipment. Inside, you'll find a convenient shelf for tools essential to car maintenance, alongside two built-in car lifts visible in the image. Those holes in the floor not only hold power chargers for future cell cars but can also store additional items. When it comes to washing your vehicle, I took a more low-key approach – you may need a bucket and some elbow grease from a partner or a friend, rather than relying on high-tech amenities. So, while this garage might not be tomorrow's reality just yet, it certainly is designed with the needs of today in mind.
