GAP PIR - completely screwless enclosure for cheap motion sensor

thingiverse

I've crafted a sleek enclosure for widely available PIR motion sensors, perfect for those on a budget. The current design allows the sensor to be simply clamped into a 7mm gap, eliminating the need for drilling holes and making mounting a breeze. Feel free to adapt this item to suit your needs! I've just uploaded an updated version with a more printer-friendly cable entry point. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Rafts: Not Required Supports: None Needed Resolution: 0.2mm Infill Pattern: 10% Line Notes: My printer allows me to print this item in both directions, giving you more flexibility. Post-Printing: To achieve a flat fit against the wall while still maintaining some angle, I've designed the sensor to rotate 360 degrees for optimal sensitivity. You may need to remove the jumper on your motion sensor and/or bend some components to get it working perfectly. I created this enclosure because I couldn't find any stylish cases that met my needs.
