Gap-filling edge trim for the acrylic sheets of the Prusa Ikea Lack enclosure
thingiverse
This is an edge trim designed to slide over the sides of acrylic sheets used in Prusa/Ikea Lack enclosures. I encountered issues with manufacturing tolerances on my Ikea unit, which resulted in gaps between acrylic panes and table legs measuring 4-5mm. To address this, I decided to create a set of custom edge trim instead of purchasing new sheets. This solution allows for adjustable gap filling by sliding the trim onto the sheet. Each piece was split into two to accommodate printing on my i3 printer, resulting in left and right sides with four pieces per acrylic pane. These pieces are grouped together as a single STL file. The design works for both back and side panels, requiring three sets of prints.
