Gap-filling edge trim for the acrylic sheets of the Prusa Ikea Lack enclosure

thingiverse

This is a set of edge trim that slide over the sides of the acylic sheets of the Prusa / Ikea Lack enclosure. I'm not sure if it was due to the manufacturing tolerances of the Ikea unit, but for my enclosure there were 4-5mm gaps between the sides of the acrylic panes and the table legs. This was too large for my preference and I was thinking of buying new sheets. But instead of that, I decide to draw and print up this set of edge trim to fill the gap. You can adjust how much or how little gap you want by how far you slide it onto the sheet. I had to split each piece into two to be able to print on the i3 and there is a left and a right side, so there are 4 pieces per acrylic pane. These 4 pieces are put together as a set in the stl file. And lastly, these will work for the back and side panels, so you'll need to print 3 sets.
