I wanted a way to shed some light on my Ender 3 while it's printing, and since I haven't gotten around to building an enclosure yet, I decided to attach lights directly to its top. This model is roughly as big as I could make it, just barely fitting diagonally across the Ender 3 bed, as shown in one of the images, which happened to be an earlier prototype. To use the IKEA Ledberg lights, they need to be modified to have separate leads instead of simply connecting together in a single strip, just like this hack shows [here](https://www.ikeahackers.net/2011/11/how-to-ledberg-lighting-wiring-hack.html). Next up are designing and attaching connecting arms to hold the two supports more securely and figuring out how to use the third light strip to illuminate the front of the hot end. ------- Update (2020-04-17): Version 8 has improved cable clips, which were a problem in earlier versions because they tended to break due to being too thin.
