GJ Kar 98K gel blaster owners can upgrade to a 1.4 spring, but they should be aware that it may lead to premature bolt failure due to excessive stress on the mechanism. My own experience with this modification resulted in a broken bolt after only one week of use. Fortunately, I had access to a 3D printer, which allowed me to create a replacement part. Following further updates, I rotated the M3 nut position to enable the use of a 40mm M3 screw through the center, providing additional support to the design. Additionally, I created a solid version of the upgrade, eliminating the middle hole that had previously weakened the structure. This modification has proven to be more durable and reliable than the original design.
