Ganesha Game Counter
thingiverse
I created a modified version of the Ganesha Murty model from Thingiverse using their design as a starting point. Adding a new feature was the 30mm circular beveled base that gives it stability. Instructions are straightforward: - Download my revised model attached to this post which includes a 30mm base. In Meshmixer, I adjusted the settings by cropping off the bottom layer to achieve perfect levelness and applying the 'Make Solid' option to close any holes. This updated version was then printed at high quality with Cura's optimal settings of 205 degrees in PLA on my Printrbot Simple Metal 3D printer. To do this, I used a combination of low layer height (0.2mm), a medium shell thickness (0.8) and equal bottom/top thickness. High infill was chosen at 15% with grid support all around the part to avoid any warping or shifting during printing. Adjusting print settings such as overhang angle at 65 degrees, fill amount of 25%, x/y distance (0.5mm) and z distance (0.14mm), yielded professional-quality results every time I printed this revised design.
