1/19/20 I added an image that's curved for improved stability during printing. Yes, it's curved, but the printed result is 100 times better than a straight print. Honestly, when you put them side by side, you can't tell the difference. Additionally, you can attach this image to a nightlight or night light. --- Here's a lithophane for Lord of the Rings - Gandalf and Balrog: It has a thickness of 3mm with a 3mm border around it. My printing dimensions are as follows: - The height is 75% of the width. - Thus, if the width is 120mm, then I use a height of 90mm. - I prefer printing my pictures standing up; I think it looks better that way. I tried printing an image flat, and it looked very bad - I won't try it again. I suggest using 100% infill to remove as many air gaps as possible. You don't really use much material anyway. You should use a brim to print this; I tried a raft, but because the image is tall, it couldn't stand up straight and the print failed. ----- I am the owner of neocrisis.com.
