Gamma-Carotene (CAS: 472-93-5) Carotenoids are unsaturated hydrocarbons with the formula C40Hx. They naturally occur in plants but almost exclusively not in animals. Carotenoids play a vital role in photosynthesis. They absorb ultraviolet and blue light, scattering orange to red light. This characteristic makes them responsible for the vibrant orange color of carrots and numerous other fruits and vegetables, such as sweet potatoes. The model includes three standard molecular representations along with a simulated electrostatic van der Waals surface. The entire scene is presented in a C4D file format, consisting of all objects created from editable primitives or metaball geometry, ready for editing.
