PROPERTY OF KADOKAWA GAMES. USED WITHOUT PERMISSION.this is a model i finished a long time ago, but kept failing during larger print attempts. the problem is that most models from 'The Eminence in shadow' have very heavy hair -- the hair itself could be a completely separate character resin-wise. of course i realized this after the latest fail which didn't fail by detaching from supports, but due to supports anchored between her hair and butt. this is a fundamental flaw with 'bottom-up' resin printers using FEP as a print surface. you can definitely print this model, but separate the hair at her shoulders and print it separately. this is also why i avoid printing skirts on most models, because the 'webbing' obstructs support propagation. for this reason the model will remain WIP, because there's really nothing more i can do from a design perspective. my FEP is also way past 100,000 layers, but i don't think that is the root cause of the problem.after watching it fail, i was feeling pretty optimistic and actually considered printing the hair separately, but a lightning strike killed my print with 8 minutes remaining. its pretty sad that in this day and age, meteorologists still can't forecast thunderstorms 24 hours in advance. i'm considering writing a sternly-worded letter to my senator, but i doubt anything will happen.gamma should be holding a fan in her right hand, but it seemed too risky to print all things considered. its there in the BLEND if you're feeling brave.check my previous posts about how to set things up... i'm getting tired of repeating myself.shiki is up next, but i'm already worried about the outcome...always fade out in a montage... oh yeah, one last thing. since this model was relatively low-poly, i EXPORTED the STL at 4xSS, which is why the file size might seem a bit excessive.................. montage..........................................
