Designed to fit Acer Nitro 5 (about 27.5mm thick), and should also work with other laptops. This laptop stand will hold your laptop vertically so that it can be used like a desktop. If you enable USB wake with lid closed in the BIOS, you can use a mouse, keyboard, and external monitor. With the Acer Nitro 5, putting the hinge upwards is likely best for thermals. I picked up a discounted monitor and keyboard-mouse combo, and now I have a 2-plug setup to use my laptop as a more productive desktop with a 23 inch screen. The stand keeps your desk-space maximized and allows for optimal airflow to the vents. There are two STL files: one is only 27.5mm thick, while the other allows for a bit more space for a thicker laptop. I used the thicker one with a neoprene-like tablet case that I got from the dollar store and cut up so the PLA doesn't scratch my laptop. Cut the material into shape, and glue in. Printed at 15% infill & 4 top/bottom layers, and it is probably a bit overkill anyways. It feels plenty sturdy. At around 130g PLA with my settings, you might want to reduce infill or top/bottom layers.
