Games Workshop paint holder for peg board
thingiverse
This is a holder for Games Workshop's current paintpots, but will also hold P3 paints. The back pegs are designed for a pegboard with a 0.25 in gap between holes and a 6mm hole. On the back, there's a larger raised area at the base of each peg - this is so a 1.54mm thick magnet can be glued in place to help keep the bracket flush to the metal pegboard. Flaws in my design are that it makes for a tight fit when you have a bunch of these on a peg board, but I've got smaller hands, so it's not a problem for me - however, the amount of space between racks might need to be increased for P3 paint pots or if you've got thicker fingers. Second, the pegs might be a bit too big; it's kind of a tight fit, but I got them into the peg board no problem. Keep in mind that I've had my printer for three weeks at the time of this posting and learned Fusion 360 to make it - I'm sure there are a large number of ways to improve this thing. I don't plan on making an edit to this for dropper paints, as an entire new bracket needs to be designed for them to make it space-efficient. I used a raft to make sure it all stayed flat, but supports are a must. Print settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 20%, but I'm guessing 10 would be fine. Notes: I'm new at all this, so I'm sure there are better settings. How I designed this: Iteration, iteration - oops, better iteration.
