This is a replica of an 8-bit Nintendo console's gamepad that functions perfectly; it's not merely for decoration. Inside, there's a board containing buttons and an USB keyboard circuit. For a closer look, visit http://www.penpenblog.com/printed-3d-gamepad-nes-full-working. This 3D printed gamepad is my homage to the '80s gaming era. I created it using a 0.35mm nozzle, with 0.25mm layer height for the body and top, and 0.15mm layer height for the buttons to achieve a better finish. ABS filament works well, but PLA should be fine too. I repurposed a broken USB keyboard for the controller board, soldering the buttons to their corresponding pins to enable desired keys. After connecting it to my computer and setting those keys in an emulation software, it's ready to play. For durability, I printed the sticker on transparent adhesive material instead of paper.
