Gamecube Plug Insert v1

A crucial component of the gamecube controller is the plug that inserts into the gamecube itself. Repeated use can leave many controllers inoperable, and the primary cause is often a worn-out cord. When the cord's outer layer at the controller end becomes frayed, it can be easily repaired by cutting off the damaged section and resoldering the remaining wire. However, fixing the other end poses a significant challenge. Despite these difficulties, I created this part after successfully repairing two damaged units in an attempt to fix their breakage. This design works fairly well for troubleshooting purposes. Unfortunately, there is a scarcity of tutorials available on repairing gamecube controllers, so if there's sufficient demand, I might develop one. For the wiring, I followed the diagram provided by int03.co.uk's website, specifically the page detailing gamecube controller hardware.
