After making the SWISS background collection for modded gamecubes I was stuck wanting to modify the jewels, I found the prices a little bit privative for me so after some small trials I have come up with this!!Personally it cost me like less than 2 Euros to make each jewel. The process is simple, i designed a 3D model of a 2 part jewel, the base that connects to the gamecube and a circle container with the depth needed to glue a printed image you want, and to fill it with epoxy. The result is a super glossy, professional looking jewel that fits perfectly with whichever image you want! I also designed some gamecube jewel printables with color modifications.When you download this bundle you will get:The files needed to make your own jewel from scratch: STL top and base Jewel to print. Printable PDFs with the colored logos to fit your designs or to modify it as you please.The SWISS background collection to modify you hacked cube.The HI SPEED PORT COVER STL files as a freebie, if you JUST want that it is cheaply sold on my profile, check it out!A TESTED STL collection from the community to simplify your customizing experience.Materials needed:- Super Glue- Epoxy - Custom Image printedSteps:1 Print the files2 Print the image you want on your jewel, ideally on photography glossy paper.3 Cut them to size and glue them with super glue.4 Pour epoxy, makes sure the table you do it is leveled.4.1 Extra Tip: Use a blowtorch to pop the small bubbles that keep on comming the first hour or two of drying ftrom time to time, and cover the jewels with a tupperr or something to avoid dust landing on it.After at least 12 hours of leting the epoxy resing cure5 Assemble the jewel top and the jewel base with super glue, and fit it into your gamecube!!Enjoy.The images must be 76.4x76.4mm as per my files.
