Gamebuino Case Mk1
thingiverse
Here is a case I built for my Gamebuino, an Arduino-based handheld which you can make your own games. Check it out here http://gamebuino.com/I liked the original case but wanted to give it more protection and make it fit with my Gameboys for chiptune stuff. I used 4 DMG inner screws to hold it together. The screw size is8.1mm long1.8mm screw diameter3.3mm head diameterThis is the first iteration, so please let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions before the next iteration.Print SettingsPrinter Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 0.2 Notes: The two halves can be printed side by side, and I recommend printing them standing up to give the front plate more detail for the curve.I will have to do a test print with it being flat. How I Designed ThisHere's how the parts were laid out in the slicing softwareThis is the finalised print, which split at a couple of points but had easy-to-move supportsThe front panel has a recess that holds the Gamebuino snugly and the back panel screws and clamps it down.
