Gameboy Macro XL Flat 4 Button Face Plate
thingiverse
This is a remix of https://www.printables.com/model/205915-gameboy-macro-xl-face-plate-full-flat by FacelessTech. In their original, the buttons didn't have any texture to them so I added directional arrows to the D-Pad, text to the Power, Select and Start buttons, and instead of using the A,B,X,Y I swapped them out for a Triforce, Pokeball, Metroid Logo and Mario Mushroom. Faceplate was printed on the Ender 3 with the front face flat on the build plate (no supports) and the buttons were printed on the Anycubic Photon Mono 4k with the design of the buttons facing up so there were no support marks seen. https://gameboymacro.com/macro-xl-tutorial/ is a quick tutorial (there are others online) for converting an original DS into a GameBoy Macro XL. The only additional materials needed are a small resistor to bypass needing 2 screens and if you want to upgrade the speaker, a Nintendo Switch replacement speaker.
