Decided to push the boundaries of my comfort zone with a one-of-a-kind handpainted model… and I'm thrilled with the result! The process took longer than anticipated, but it was worth every minute – better late than never, after all. I drew inspiration from Zelda, so I aimed to create a small tribute to that iconic franchise as well. Plus, it made for an excellent wood painting exercise! Big shoutout to rommalart for the model and Jasmin for the retopo! I tweaked the UVs to fit my workflow perfectly. Based on "Handpainting Challenge - Gameboy" by Curlscurly, and "GameBoy Pokemon !
