Human: Updated to Version 2!!! Note: Due to the Gameboy-Camera's sensor size, this assembly results in a crop factor of approximately 7.6. This makes all regular lenses become extreme zoom lenses. However, a 10mm fisheye can be used as a decent portrait lens. The attached moon image was taken with a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens at 200mm. The attached red image was taken from across the street (at about 20m) with a Tokina 10-17mm lens at 10mm. This assembly can be easily reverted back to its original state, without damaging or manipulating any camera parts. The new Version is significantly more rigid and does not rely on existing screws like the previous version. Instead, it requires six M2 screws and six threaded inserts that get glued into the printed model. By doing so, the print does not experience as much stress at attachment points. Required Parts: * 2x Screw M2 x 4 * 4x Screw M2 x 8 * 6x Washer * 2x Insert M2 x 4 x 3.5 * 4x Insert M2 x 8 x 3.5 Assembly: Glue the threaded inserts into the model using some strong epoxy, taking care not to get glue into the threads. Disassemble your camera and keep all parts in case you want to revert back to its original state. Only two required parts from the "ball-head" are the actual sensor PCB (without the original lens) and the backside half-ball. It is enough to unplug the cable from the main PCB only. Thread the cable through the printed part (wait until the epoxy is fully cured first!). Screw in the sensor and back-cover. Connect the cable to the main-PCB again. Attach the new ball to the white mount that gets held between the cartridge shell halves. Assemble the cartridge again. The part for version 1 is still downloadable, but I have received reports of it not printing correctly, so I strongly recommend using the better version 2!
