It was originally created by Alfred Butts in 1938. This Solidworks model is not intended for production but as visual example for creating game word scenarios. The board layout incorporated wood marquetry tiles inclusive of brass & acrylic inlays incorporating symbols of my own design to denote square word scoring designations. There are 2 board layouts, the standard (15x15 grid) and the Super Scrabble layout (21x21 grid).Letter tiles are based on maple wood with engraved lettering & tile scoring. Rendering of images of tile sets in English. Presently creating an MS Excel spreadsheet for tile sets in various languages which accounts for quantity & scoring after initial web searches.
