Game of Thrones - Iron Throne

The Iron Throne is the throne upon which the King of the Andals and the First Men sits, located in the Red Keep within the city of King's Landing. Only the King himself or the Lord Regent can sit on the Iron Throne beside him. The term is also used to refer to the monarchy ruling the Seven Kingdoms and the authority of the King, as seen in "Rebellion against the Iron Throne." Currently seated on the throne is King Tommen Baratheon, known as the First of His Name. The Iron Throne was forged at Aegon the Conqueror's order, the first Targaryen King, who conquered six independent kingdoms of Westeros and unified them under his rule - Dorne later joined through a marriage alliance. Forged from allegedly 1,000 swords surrendered by lords in the War of Conquest, though fewer than two hundred were actually used, they were melted down by Balerion the Black Dread's fiery breath, then beaten into an imposing throne. This object will be delivered unassembled and unpainted when purchased through the MyMiniFactory Store. We encourage customers to express their creativity and personalize it as desired.
