I've now uploaded a Walking Dead top mod that's based on the original design. This was my first project using Fusion 360, and while learning the program was frustrating at times, I'm really pleased with the results and think it's worth learning, especially since it's free. To set the calendar, you simply move the pull-out knob on the side to one of four positions and turn the corresponding dial. My original design didn't take into account the friction of the outer spindle moving all the dials, so I added the four little brakes. These require a small spring; I was originally going to print some plastic springs but decided against it in case they snapped. Instead, I used a spring from my bobble head project and cut it to length: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EOIEM7U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The brake levers were originally designed to be attached with a small piece of filament, but due to shrinkage while printing the holes were too small. I finally used a small length of copper wire from an old household electrical cable and bent it to keep it in place. I printed the whole model with 20% infill, using supports and a brim for the top. When I painted my model, I didn't paint the spaces, thinking they didn't need it since they're internal parts. However, you can see these areas, so don't make the same mistake as I did.
