Game of Thrones Clock

Game of Thrones Clock

I've been itching to build a clock for ages, so I splurged on a movement from Wish several months back. Unfortunately, my initial design didn't quite hit the mark, so I put the project on hold for a bit. It wasn't until recently that I started binge-watching Game of Thrones, and that's when I got inspired by this dragon logo. With its bold design, it was the perfect fit for my clock. My printer has some limitations, which meant I couldn't print the clock at the size I wanted. As a result, it looked a bit lost on the wall, so I decided to create a stand that would allow me to display it on a table or shelf instead. And what a difference - it looks much better this way. I also realized that I needed some space between the mechanism and the face to give it a bit more depth. It was a small tweak, but it made all the difference. For this project, I opted for wood filament with an infill of 30%. This was my first time using this material, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Of course, feel free to experiment with different materials - the possibilities are endless! When assembling the face, you'll need to push through the front with a bit of persuasion.
