Game of Thrones Clock
thingiverse
I've been itching to build a clock for ages, so I finally caved in and purchased a movement from Wish a couple of months ago. Initially, my design didn't sit well with me, so I put the project on hold for a bit.\r\n\r\nJust recently, I started binge-watching Game of Thrones, and that dragon logo really got my creative juices flowing.\r\nDue to my printer's limitations, I wasn't able to print the clock at the size I wanted, which made it look a bit lost on the wall. To remedy this, I printed a stand to let it sit comfortably on a table or shelf, and I'm much happier with the result.\r\n\r\nI also realized that a space between the mechanism and the face was necessary to give it some breathing room.\r\n\r\nFor this project, I used wood filament with an infill of 30%. It's my first time working with this material, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Of course, you can use whatever material you prefer.\r\n\r\nWhen assembling the face, make sure to push through the front with a bit of persuasion.
