This checker board and its pieces are from the original Fire station 27 in Indianapolis, The station opened January 1st, 1907 at 2918 East 10th Street. The old station was torn down and a new one was put up at the same location in 1971. A Game of Checkers, is apart of the Indianapolis Fire Fighters Museum collection. This item was 3D scanned using a Creaform Go Scan 20 and Go Scan 50. Note the bed frame was re-created from photographic reference.
