Game Controller Comfort Grips for Nintendo 3dsXL

Hands hurt after gaming on your 3DS XL? Maybe you're getting older, or your hands are too big, or the control scheme just doesn't fit right. Well, let's try something different! You can experiment with my latest gamepad-style gaming grips! This is a hybrid design between PlayStation and GameCube that I think works really well for the wide body and weight of the 3DS XL. It takes very little plastic to print, and it's quick to make. You'll only need four small screws - I used M3x6. The screen angle for 3D is perfect, with no funny "ghosting" effects. You can just let your hands relax and hold your 3DS like a modern console controller. Most things are unimpeded, and there are holes for pretty much everything else (stylus, volume fader, bumpered cartridge slot, IR, DC, accessory mounting holes, headphone port). It doesn't close 100%, but it's very nearly there - more than enough to go into sleep mode. I also threw in an earbud cord organizer to keep things tidy up front. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays! Update: December 29, 2014: I've updated the design to add a small hole on the right grip for the wireless on/off toggle switch. This is version v2.3 of the grip. The old version without the hole, v2.2, will still be available.
