For the IR cover to be fully compatible with every Game Boy Color shell, removable risers are integrated into each side. To ensure a proper fit, attempt to insert the IR cover into the shell; if it doesn't fit, carefully break off these risers using a pair of side cutters. Printing these top layers in a contrasting color will help identify exactly where to make the cuts. For optimal results when slicing with slic3r/Prusa Slicer, be sure to enable "Detect thin walls."
