Galton Dice BoxA fascinating dice box inspired by the Galton Board. You can watch how each dice chooses its path to the storage area, try guessing which tunnel the dice will fall into. The board can store up to 40 dice (K6 and others).Read more about statistics and binomial distribution to get others interested in mathematics.Edit: the board is currently the favorite toy of my 3 years old kid - he spends hours watching how dice fall.Watch below how the dice fall down to the tunnel:How to place the box and store dice?Place the dice box vertically or at a considerable angle (so that dice can easily fall, hitting the poles). Put dice one by one by the whole at the top and watch how they randomly change their directions, ending in one of the tunnels. The middle one will contain most of the dice (37,5%), the 2nd and 4th will receive 25% each, and the outer tunnels will have the least dice (6,25%).InstructionsPrint 3 files:dice-galton-box-boarddice-galton-box-polesdice-galton-box-cover-(print_2x) - yes, print this one twice :-)The cover goes on top of both main parts, which finally can be joined together to keep the box in one piece, with the possibility of folding it.I recommend using glue to connect the covers with the board and poles.
