Discovered in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, Gallimimus is one of the largest known ornithomimids, measuring up to 6 meters in length. It is characterized by its long legs, neck, and tail, and a small, toothless beak, suggesting it was a fast, omnivorous or herbivorous dinosaur. Gallimimus had large eyes and a lightweight skeleton, aiding in its agility. This dinosaur is notable for its bird-like features, providing significant insights into the evolution of modern birds from theropod ancestors.
