This object was crafted with painstaking detail, its form a direct translation of Walter Matthes' influential early sketches of the Star Trek shuttle design. The mesh is comprised entirely of polys and nerbs, with none of the embellishments one might expect to see in a more fully realized model – no textures or UVs were applied. Opening the doors involves simply rotating nulls within Lightwave's Layout tool, while rigging has been carefully omitted from the accompanying FBX file.
