thingiverse
Experience a 3D-printed replica of Galileo's lost compass, once used for ellipse drawing. This makes an engaging toy for those studying constructive geometry. For printing, use ABS at a .25mm layer height and 50% infill. Assemble with a 5mm smooth rod, 4mm threaded rods, 5x7x10mm brass bushings, and M3 bolts. Assembly is simple – print two long arm files and one set of other components.
