galileo's ( ellipse ) compass

<p>this is a 3d printed version of a long lost galileo's compass which in its hay day was used to draw ellipses. This should be a fun toy for all those learning constructive geometry</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>print in abs at .25mm layer height with 50% infill... For assembling you need a 5mm smooth rod, 4mm threaded rods , and 5 X 7 x 10 mm brass bushing and m3 bolts.....</p> <p>it is fairly simple to assemble...</p> <p>print two of the long arm file and one set of the other pieces</p> Category: Art Tools
