This is my take on Galileo's concept of a pendulum clock. It draws inspiration from that diagram available online. Fully functional, it runs for an hour or more, depending on its proximity to the ground. And yes, it features a rewind key! Check it out live here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TbkEIbFsKk Standing approximately 20 inches tall and 50 cm in length, it's too large to be printed. I constructed the frame using wood. Steel shafts measuring 3/16 of an inch or 5mm would also work well. You'll need some screws, a few small bolts, washers, glue, and other materials to assemble this project. Adjusting the timing may require some trial and error. I began with a large block of wood and gradually shaved it down until it ticked at a rate close to one second per tick. The design makes everything adjustable. Start from the top, ensuring all wheels move freely before proceeding. I used a weight of approximately 1.5 kg or three pounds for this project. The weight, pendulum length, and pendulum itself may vary, but you should have a solid starting point with these specifications.
