I created a custom adaptation of the Thingiverse design with one key modification - removing the base. This allowed me to reimagine the original design as a standalone piece. I then scaled up the dimensions, printing four separate models in different colors at 45mm height each. The result was a set of vibrant, oversized boats that perfectly fit my needs for the Islebound board game, replacing the cardboard versions I previously used.
