Galaxy Tab Dock
thingiverse
Looking for a docking solution for your Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9" or 10.1"? Check out this DIY project! The creator designed a dock with an adapter locking center channel and cable tunnel for the 30-pin power/data cable, plus two unique dowels to help slide the tablet in and out easily. The stand holds your Tab at a 20-degree angle, preventing tipping, and has dual front and rear speaker ports for optimal audio experience while docked. Two options are available: a standard-sized dock that allows you to use a thumb keyboard without removing the tablet from the dock, or a jumbo dock with a wider stance. The creator also provided a Sketchup master file for those who want to make modifications. To make your own, choose between the standard and jumbo docks, print the corresponding STL files, clean the parts with a knife, insert the dowels and data/power cable, push the halves together, slide in the tablet, and enjoy! The creator printed theirs on a TOM # 4890 MK6+ using 1.75mm filament, .4 nozzle, ABP with an aluminum plate topper and titanium belt covered in kapton.
