Galaxy S9+ Smartphone Holder and Mount System

Update 10-20-2019 I wanted my phone to fit inside a Valbon Tripod, so I designed this mount to fit old-style tripods with large camera mounts. Now my phone can switch between vehicles and camera tripod mounts. I've included STL files for this design in the attachments as well. Original Post Below I needed a sideways mount for my Galaxy S9+ to view maps while driving. I also wanted a quick-release mount that lets me move the phone holder from one vehicle to another easily. In the future, I plan to create another quick-release mount for a tripod that can use this holder design. I also wanted the phone holder to be removable and interchangeable with a GoPro camera, so I added traditional GoPro release mounts to the setup. The bottom quick-release mount is meant for permanent installation in vehicles using double-sided tape. You can find good 3M double-sided tape at your local auto parts store. I modified the screw base mount by removing holes and adding more support for the GoPro slide mount, using a 40mm knob selection. The phone holder was designed specifically for my Galaxy S9+ with a phone case on it, so you may need to adjust it for your phone's needs. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. This is my first design, and I'm new to 3D printing. I'm using an Ender 3 Pro printer and Cura slicer. When viewing the photos, select the original view option to see them properly; they don't display well in standard mode.
