Galaxy S7 Edge Phone Mount for MotorCycle
thingiverse
I built my own motorcycle mount for my Galaxy S7 Edge. Keep in mind that I have a small phone case on my phone, which demands extra space in the holder. Additionally, there's room for a wireless charger, but the bottom area of the phone remains clear so you can plug in a charger. All bolts used are M4 (Hornback PLU-nr 12122). I utilized the bolt from a GoPro with the GoPro Knut to tighten the cover down, as shown in the video. Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/eKLQLp8lmYA. The bar diameter on this bike is 22.5 mm; I employed some high-quality double-sided tape to ensure it's tight and doesn't tilt during driving. The bottom part (Frame grip lower part) was made extremely strong using POLYMAX with 80% infill. I printed the other part in Black PET. Note that there are two versions available - a long one and a short one. As a result, the holder is positioned closer to the steering wheel. Please do not use PLA for this print as it's not strong enough and can't handle heat; it also tends to deform.
