Here are two-wheeled expeditions from the year 2007, where you will find a small "coin holder" attached near the steering wheel on the dashboard. This space usually holds the four-wheel drive switch for the four-wheel drive model. I replaced the coin holder with a three-dimensional phone holder made from printed material. The phone holder is expected to fit in various expedition models produced throughout different years, but my test only included expeditions manufactured in 2007. To strengthen the phone holder, it was created in separate parts which could be attached together later using adhesive. To minimize part failures caused by boundary layer separation between printing layers, I decided to place the loading on the springy sections of the material "in-plane" rather than allowing them to break at those seams. The various orientations available for attaching the clips required an arrangement that would distribute forces evenly in multiple directions simultaneously to meet my goal. To build the phone holder, three separate parts are used: a mount base attached under a pre-drilled hole in the dashboard area of the vehicle; small clips which are inserted semi-permanently into holes around this plate using some force and patience for better attachment; and finally there's a thin rod connected directly underneath your preferred phone. All of these components must work together in unison when used together. Instructions on how to assemble this unit properly: - First step, place all pieces side by side next to one another, then follow each one from start towards end, so here you'll discover an entire piece comprised mostly made out primarily out metal alloy stuff! Mount Base installation first thing requires placing it below empty hole pre drilled onto top center middle area; after securing firmly apply clips so as not let come loose ever. The mount should stay locked onto desired spot by applying minimal pressure then tapping with small hammer if required.
