You'll be amazed the first time you snap a photo with your phone propped up on a tripod - the quality is outstanding! The image comes out way clearer than when taking it by hand. A standard tripod will do the trick, but there are many super small tripods (just click on this , that one , and the rest ) designed specifically to perch on table tops, perfect for shooting close-up details, documenting your research, or showing off the step-by-step process of a project you've worked on. As it turns out, my own printer can't quite print small threads correctly, so I gave Giufini's fantastic Galaxy S4 Tripod Mount another shot. This model features a robust 1/4-20 T-nut attachment (available in most hardware stores or right here) for rock-solid and lasting connection to your tripod's mounting screw. As a bonus, the flaps on this mount allow it to double as a sturdy free-standing tabletop phone holder in an emergency. Now, onto the step-by-step instructions: 1. First off, clean up your 3D print if needed - mine came out good as new! 2. Now, prep that T-nut: using pliers or a vise, gently bend the small prongs down so you get a perfectly even flange on one end of the nut. 3. Mix up some epoxy (about now) until it reaches paste-like consistency; let it sit for just long enough not to flow all over. 4. Spoon that goo into the little hole on the part - carefully so you don't waste any, as we need a lot more accuracy in here! 5. Carefully align and position your T-nut over the goop within its tiny bed - keep calm: we can make adjustments later when we put everything together onto the tripod (and actually tighten things securely to prevent all that gluey disaster happening!) And honestly there’s probably going away a simple task, using a bit more precision during those steps might save lots effort! 6. Finally mount it to a tripod making sure everythig is perfectly lined up: trust me this isn’t super hard; just go easy when clamping that nut since overexerting your grip may inadvertently stick it together for good while we let things set... You'll find out real fast which one is happening by hearing sound, seeing what happened after a couple minutes has passed or simply asking others around the table
