Print Your Own Custom Samsung Galaxy 4 Case or Bumper at Home. To begin, split the case design into two separate parts so you can print them on your 3D printer using a layer thickness of 0.2mm. For optimal results, I highly recommend using a skirt instead of a raft when printing this project. To do this, set the offset to zero millimeters and select a loop count of 15-20 for one single layer. This will give you a clean and professional finish. Next, start by printing the first 1.6mm thick layer with a solid infill of 100%. Once that's complete, switch to a lower infill percentage of between 10% to 15%, which will help reduce the weight and make the case or bumper more portable. Finally, add four additional solid layers on top for extra durability and protection.
