This design works seamlessly with a slim-style case installed on the phone, but it also functions perfectly without any kind of case. Unless you reside in an area where temperatures are consistently cold throughout the year, print this item using a high-heat resistant filament to prevent it from melting in the sun. You can easily access the charging port, power button, and all volume buttons. Place your phone horizontally in the holder with its top facing to the right. The holder should slide smoothly into the CD slot. The holding area itself is slightly angled back. I printed mine using #MakerGeeks Natural Raptor PLA, which can be annealed in the oven and remain strong up to 200F. **Make sure you carefully measure the area around your CD slot!** I created this design to fit the CD slot in my 2016 Ford Fusion, so the insert for the slot is positioned high on the model. As a result, the phone sits relatively low. I made this adjustment to keep the phone out of the way of the touchscreen. Always check to ensure that this will clear your knobs and other features.
