Have you ever found yourself grasping for your phone only to realize you've grabbed it the wrong way, with the buttons awkwardly positioned under your thumb and fingers? It's happened to me far too often, leading me to take matters into my own hands - or rather, design a solution that addresses this frustrating issue. I was unable to find a phone case that effectively solved this problem at the time, so I took it upon myself to create something new. I started by designing a thicker wall with strategically placed rounded pits for your fingers, ensuring you can easily pick up your phone without struggling. This design also covers the top part of your device, providing stability and helping you determine which way is up. With these features in place, I've given my phone an ergonomic grip that's both comfortable to hold and easy to use. But that's not all - this innovative design also provides a protective shield around the edges of your phone, thanks to its thicker walls and infill material. This added layer of protection helps safeguard your device against physical shocks and scratches. I chose to use TPU filament for this project because it has a unique property: it can bend when you place your phone in your pocket or bag, reducing the risk of damage. Plus, TPU absorbs physical impacts better than rigid materials, making it an ideal choice for this design.
