A gait belt is used as a safety device to aid in mobility for the aged and physically disabled. It's also used to safely lift a person who has fallen. When a person has fallen and cannot stand on their own, they need to be lifted immediately to prevent pain and further injury. There is no time to look for the gait belt. It needs to be stored in a single location that is readily visible. This gait belt holder is mounted to the wall with two screws. Drywall screws or deck screws can be screwed directly into drywall, or screw in drywall anchors can be used for a stronger wall mounting. Gait belts seem to be of standard size and construction so this gait belt holder should fit most gait belts, but I included the FreeCAD FCStd file if you'd like to modify the design for your purposes. Simply changing the size of the box would allow many different items to be wall mounted.
